PTI MIM #331: Creating Mixed Background Texture

7/31/18
This weeks MIM challenge is hosted by Stephanie as she
uses a die-cut and a stamped image to create texture in her
background. Stephanie keeps her BG die-cut white with
neutrals for BG stamped images thus making her floral focus
really "POP."

Here is my impression of Stephanie's challenge:

Supplies: PTI Orchid Expression, Herb Garden Mini Kit, Corner Adorner: February, Shape Shifters: Square 2 Die, PTI Dye Ink (Pale Peony, Berry Sorbet, Harvest Gold, Summer Sunrise, New Leaf, Pinefeather, Honey Nut, Cocoa Bean, Soft Stone, Stormy Sea), vintage seam binding, Studio Katia Snow Crystals, Stickles (Crystal).

  1. This is stunning, Susan! Love the panel behind your orchids. And the way you doubled up to create the length. Just perfect. And so's the pretty stamped greenery. Just have to case this beauty!

  5. This is stunning Susan! First off, that orchid is on the top of my wish list and your beautiful card makes me want it even more. What a clever idea to use the square shape shifter to create a rectangle panel. Pure genius! What a woonderful take on Stephanie's technique and beautifully done!
