Laurie shares creating shadow backgrounds for this weeks
MIM. She uses outline images in neutral colors and places
the colored stamped images on top which really makes them
pop. I decided to give her method a try using Glorious Globes. I am a late comer to this set and wanted to give them
a try. I've selected the Glorious Globes February set which has flowers. Here's what I came up with:
Supplies: PTI Glorious Globes Basics, Glorious Globes February, Shape Shifters: Oval 2 Die, PTI Dye Ink (Pale Peony, Lilac Grace, Spring Rain, Green Parakeet, New Leaf, Smokey Shadow), Judikins EP (Rustique Weather Vane), MFT Itsy Bitsy Polka Dots Pastels PP, vintage seam binding, misc 4mm sequins/clear rhinestones.
What a great idea using the flowers from Glorious Globes. Your card is beautiful Susan! I'm a newbie to these sets too and have been enjoying using them. Your card is inspiring!!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. Lovely design.

ReplyDeleteYour flowers and globes backed with the Shape Shifter Oval looks great for this technique. Lovely card, Susan!
ReplyDeleteAwwww...what a lovely card Susan! The flowers were perfect to use with this technique and love how you framed it all out with the oval opening and DSP! BEAUTIFUL!! :0)
ReplyDeleteA good idea to use the tiny flowers for your background and look lovely in the oval. Those globes are really starting to grow on me.
ReplyDeleteLovely card!
