PTI October 2016 Blog Hop

10/25/16 * PTI October Blog Hop challenge is to use the colors/elements from this photo that Nicole has selected. My music background is made from music washi tape rubbed with Distressed Ink "tea dye" for an aging effect. I used watercolor paper with Clean Color markers sponged over with tea dye ink to soften the brightness; then die cut with Cottage Cutz Christmas Candles. The greens are from Holiday Greens stamped in various shades of green. Frame was sponged with three PTI green inks and then cut from We R Memory frame punch board. "Merry" is cut from gold cardstock and a Hero Arts die plus layered twice for dimension. Stickles yellow was added to candle flames. And a "pop" of red is achieved with a bit of red sheer ribbon to tie everything together. Whew, think I covered most of the
elements and colors?!! TFL :)
