uses patterned paper/cover-up stamps to embellish die-cut
frames. I only have one Cover Up background stamp in my
stash (Quatrefoil). I embossed it with white EP on watercolor
paper. Then used my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors
in the traditional greens/reds. I splattered some warm gold on
after. This does not show up in the photo but adds an elegance to the BG. I used an ornament from Brilliant Baubles as the focal point of my patterned frame.
Supplies: PTI Brilliant Baubles/Cover Up: Quatrefoil/Say It Simply: You & Yours Die/Pierced Feature Rectangle Frame Die, PTI Dye Ink (Pale Peony, Berry Sorbet, Pure Poppy), silver/white EP, Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors, gold foil CS.
This is SO pretty Susan! I love how you did your frame...it's just lovely!! I can never seem to get red and green water colored together without it turning brown, but yours turned out so pretty! A perfect way to frame that lovely ornament too and love the touches of gold in the frame and your sentiment. Lovely, lovely card!! :0)
