PTI Make It Monday: Ombre Cluster Stamping

This weeks Make It Monday features Dawn McVey 

Stamps/Dies: Some Like It Hot (Nichole Heady),
   Petite Pots (sentiment)

PTI inks: Orange Zest, Summer Sunrise, 

   Harvest Gold

Background shading sponged with same colors

as pineapples were stamped. Added Crystal

Effects for some dimension on one of the pine-

apples. Finished card off with some jute. 

with her Ombre Cluster Stamping challenge. 

PTI August 2016 Blog Hop

PTI August Blog Hop - Challenge is to use a photo of
a palette of paint colors ("soft pastels, earthy oranges
and a pop of navy") as an inspiration for creating a card. 

I sponged PTI Terracotta Tile and Pale Peony dye inks
along with Umbrella Crafts Sand ink onto some water-
color paper. Then spritzed it with some water for the background. The pumpkins and leaves are stamped and die cut from Kay Miller's Spooky Smiles. I used
some dark blue ink to stamp the pumpkin images. 
The card is framed with Erin Lincoln's Pretty Frame 
Die. And lastly, I just had to add some google eyes
to the pumpkins even tho their eyes are cute enough
alone. This card was especially fun for me to create.

by Kay Miller to make this cute Halloween tag. I seem

to be in the Halloween mode already as the past 3

cards I have designed have been in this theme. OOPS!        ***Thanks for having a look!

PTI Create Along With Us: August 2016

     Revisited a couple of older PTI stamps/dies: 

Rustic Wreath and Been Boo'd for this challenge.

I love the versatility of the Rustic Wreath stamp/die!

And I had forgotten about my Been Boo'd set which

was one of my very first PTI stamp sets. I didn't even

have matching dies for this set and had to "fussy-cut"

the Halloween icons by hand. So nice to revisit older

stamp sets! :) 

PTI Make It Monday #257: Sentiment Strip Grounding

Decided to give Lexi Daly's challenge a try...this card
came together quickly. I don't usually do simple so this
technique is good for me. I also got to try out some of
my new products from PTI! Thanks for stopping by. :)

Papertrey Ink SAF 2016 Remix Challenge

Original "Watercolor with Kay Miller" challenge
card creation done with PTI Tulips set. I did not
like the way this card came out and feel that the
flower stamp set I selected was too small for Kay's
watercolor technique to work.

Redo: I am much happier with this card in using
Kay's watercolor technique having used PTI
Bloomers! I still need more practice but it's
a start. I love Kay's use of watercolor effect
in her card creations. They are beautiful!
